Legal Japanese Translation
Legal Japanese translation into English not only requires high attention to detail, but more importantly also requires a translator committed to working with clients after delivery to ensure accuracy.
While living in Japan for four years I studied the Japanese language in depth culminating in the award of Level One Japanese proficiency. I was able to perform translations of Japanese documents but only after returning to England and completing my legal studies did I feel able to provide a legal Japanese translation service.
During my training contract at a law firm in central Manchester I often assisted in the mark-up process of commercial contracts which had been translated into English from a foreign language. More often than not the translations incorporated unnatural English, and were therefore very difficult to understand. As the translator was uncontactable, the frustration continued throughout, making the whole process very difficult to manage. Due to the complexity of legal documents, a legal Japanese translation service requires a legally trained translator who is directly contactable after delivery.
Understanding the needs of solicitors (I currently practise as a solicitor in litigated defendant insurance fraud) and with 8 years experience translating all manner of Japanese documents into English, I offer a specialised legal Japanese translation service with unrivalled after-care.
